Tattoos!!

Let’s talk tattoos today!
I know I want tattoos someday. But that made me wonder: since tattoos are a socially accepted things nowadays, do any of you want tattoos or do any of you already have tattoos? Let me talk about the tattoos I want and show some pictures of tattoos I adore!

First the tattoos I want. I’m very clear about this, but please note I’m only 16, things can change. I think I want 6 tattoos or at least 2. I know it’s quite a lot but they have a story behind them!

The first one I most surely want to get is one on my back that says:

Scars show us where we have been,
they do not dictate where we are going.

The story behind it: I’ve had a Scoliosis surgery in November 2011 and it had (and still has) a huge impact on my life. It was a tough surgery but I’m a champion J. I will write a blogpost on my surgery so everybody can understand what Scoliosis is and what the surgery was like for me.
The picture shown below is the placement I want for this tattoo:

Portugal Haul!

Today is going to be my first haul! woohoo!  I went on a vacation with my mother to Portugal, Costa de Lisboa to be precise. And since I spend four days in Lisbon there was no way I couldn't have shopped. So here are the super cute things I've bought.
Btw. did you read the super cute in a annoying bimbo voice? because it was meant to sound like that.

Expand me!

I procrastinate

I procrastinate.
Yup, there I said it. I procrastinate and I hate it. I already see people saying: “then why don’t you just do thing? It’s easy right?”. Well, no, it’s not. I used to think I started procrastinating when I got into high school, but when I look back I know that I did this all of my life. And trust me it’s not easy to just turn something you did your entire life around.
I’m almost 16, why can’t I just do the things I want and need to do? I mean as an example: I planned to spend my vacation (7 weeks) on writing blog posts so I could spend more time on school. There’s less than 3 weeks left and this is the first article I’m writing. I should’ve called my blog: The procrastinator. So that everyone would know that I’m a terrible blogger (or basically a terrible worker). And it’s not the job itself but getting started. And don’t get me wrong, I love blogging but as soon as I tell myself: write this article, I don’t.

I never ever completed a single to-do list. Are the tasks too hard or did you put to many on the to-do list? Nope, my brain just says:  “later”.  And I’m stupid and not disciplined enough to tell my brain: “but I want to do it. I need to do it and I’m going to do it”. Brain wins the fight.

Before I knew that it was procrastination I thought I had the fear of failure. And as soon as I started thinking I had the fear of failure my brain was like: “you are afraid of tests and doing normal things like calling people, I didn’t know that before!” . And now I also have fear of failure. Congrats Vivian!

And now I’m starting to notice: I talk about my brain as if it’s a different person, while in fact it’s me. Why do I do that? It’s just part of the problem I guess.

I have so many tips on how to stop procrastinating but up till now I haven’t used them correctly or something. So I’m going to throw myself on the nearest object and sob like a Disney princess and after that I might post this on my blog.

Fashion Through The Ages: 2000s

Do you still know what the fashion trends from 2000-2009 were? No? Yes?  Well, today I’ll be showing you what the trends from the 2000s were.

I think you remember most of these trends. The main trends were the ugg boots, high tops, hoodies and skinny jeans. There was also the fake fur trend, which I'm not a big fan of and lastly shown is this picture is the ripped/distressed jeans trend. In the decade we live in now (2010s) we upgrated the jeans to shorts. Shorts are hot right now.

Of course there are streams of styles that were popular in the 2000s. Want to see what they were?

Picture Challenge Day 4: Playing with focus

Today we're playing with focus. What I did was I made a little set up with one of my globes (I'm a sucker for globes and stuff) in the garden and let the camera focus on different places in the set-up. Let's see how I did:

YR summer products

Did you know:  This blog is actually meant to be a beauty blog instead of a lifestyle blog. Yup, I have pretty much written about lifestyle only. But not today!  Today is going to be a review of the new line from Yves Rocher called: Tradition de hammam.
I have only two products from the line. That’s why I added two more Yves Rocher products to review!
