My Lake Garda Vacation: Day 7-12

Part 2/3 of my vacation diary. Day 7-12 where I went to visit Verona and Sirmione, hopped on a cable car and went swimming in the lake. Let's get started!

July 14th (Day 7)

The water of Lake Garda was pretty cold

Feeling like a child on the monkey bars :D

And another example of terrible spelling mistakes :p

July 15 (Day 8)

Today we went to Verona and visited a lot of churches. I'll give you an impression of what it was like, if you want to know more details about the churches and Verona you could read my post about tips & tricks for lake Garda.

I love all the details these churches have! The Duomo gives me a feeling of warmth.

This is the S. Giorgio in Braida. We parked next to this church. It's very small on the inside.

Opposite of the Duomo is an adorable cafe, check it out if you're around.

That ceiling must have taken ages to paint.

July 16th (Day 9)

Today we went to Mont Baldo, where you can take a cable car to get to a height of 1780 mtrs. in about 5 minutes. The views are amazing and you have a great sight at lake Garda.

I drank this everyday. So good!

I was scared to death in the cable cars. Too wobbly for me.

I prefer to backpack up, actually

July 17th (Day 10)

Today we went to Sirmione, THE place to go for tourists. It was terribly crowded. I think that Sirmione is a nice place to visit but don't expect a grand castle or anything spectacular.

 Sirmione is a peninsula in lake Garda

 The built in stairs look pretty cool :)

 There were huge fish everywhere

We went shopping afterwards  and we bought the same shoes :P

July 18th (Day 11)

 We were in the pool all day and finished the day by eating alcoholic sorbet :P

July 19th (Day 12)

Verona is absolutely gorgeous!

I found these snail prints all over the Arena floor

We were in this bus pretty much all day

He laughs like he just wet himself :P

So this was part two of my lake Garde adventure. Sorry for the long wait, I had some issues that needed to be fixed first.
