Make Up Tutorial: Smokin' Fire

Hey lovely fireflies!  Today I have a make up tutorial for you. It's a step by step so be prepared for a lot of pictures! I was kinda doubting if I should post this tutorial because the final result pictures turned out a bit blurry. Anyways, the step by steps look good so why bother??

My Favourite Apps!

Well hello there, powergirls!

Today I want to talk about my favourite apps. My phone and I haven't been separated since it's the way to talk to my boyfriend when he's away. If you're using your phone that much you'll start to look for apps. Or at least I did. I've found some apps in the last couple of months that I use a lot and without further ado I'll present them to you (that rhymed):

1.  WhatsApp.
WA is basically an online messenger that you can use to send free texts via WiFi. I've been using it for quite a while now and except for a few bugs, I love it. I can text my boyfriend whenever I want and I can easily send him pictures. It's not connected to facebook or whatever, the only thing you need is their phone number.

2. The Youtube App.
I love listening to music, so the youtube app is kinda perfect for me. Just play my favourite songs out load while running or brushing my teeth. I think I use youtube so much for music since I don't have spotify. A thing that kind of bothers me though is the fact that it can't find all songs I look for.

3. Facebook.
No description needded.

4. Nu.nl  and NOS
These are dutch apps with news articles and videos. Helpful for keeping me up to date.

5. My HIIT Timer.
This is a plain and simple tabata timer I use when running. I love exercising (running in particular) so this app comes in very handy :)

6.  Meta.
This is just an app I use to see my school scedule and my grades.

That's it! I don't use a lot of apps actually. My most used apps are WhatsApp and Youtube. I use the rest equally.

♥ Love, Vivian

5 Must Have Basics (I Don't Own)

As a girl who loves fashion a lot, I'm very well aware of the so called 'must have basics'. Basic clothing pieces every girl should have in her closet. It seems that you always look fashionable with those pieces and can build your entire style around them. But like a lot of other girls, I don't own every single basic out there. And before I start to tell you what all of these basics are, why you should have them and how to style them.  I thought it would be fairer to tell you what I don't own myself.

#1: A Little Black Dress.

This appears to be a very important basic. You can dress it up or dress it down. You could wear it to work with a cute blazer and then add some high heels and a clutch to go clubbing with your friends in the evening. The possibilities are endless and that's why I'm wondering why I don't own at least one of these LBDs. It actually also makes me wonder why I don't own a lot of dresses in general. I've recently bought a blue one, but that's about it. WishListItem!
