Review: Sleek Pout Paint.

Good afternoon my delightful cherry bonbons,

While in London, I bought a Sleek Pout Paint in the colour 159 Port. I wanted to buy one for a pretty long time, but in Holland we're only able to get them online and I didn't want to pay 3.95 euros for the shipping of two or three pout paints.
So I was very glad I saw Sleek products in Superdrug. At first I wanted to buy the blue one and the white one for things like halloween. Then I thought to myself that Halloween make up would be cheaper and less sticky on my skin. That's why I opted for Port. It seemed like the perfect colour for Fall and Winter.
Want to know my opinion on this Pout Paint? Then continue reading.

First let's take a moment to look at the packaging. It's simple, clear and most of all it's hygenic.

It has this very hygenic nozzle that you don't use directly on your lips. You apply the paint with your lipbrush. Which is both a plus and a minus to me. It's a plus because you can apply it more precise than a regular lipgloss but it's a minus because you have to have a lip brush of some sort. I understand that not everyone has a lipbrush so this is probably not a good product for them.

As it says on the back you need a tiny bit of pout paint. That's why it's so important to have a lip brush for this product. Not only can you apply it more precisely, you also have to use less and you're able to spread it out more easily.
It's also saying that it can be mixed with other colours in the range (or OCC lip tarts). I think this is great. Port is a pretty dark and Wintery shade, but when you mix it with the white pout paint you can create a more Summery shade.

The consistancy of this product is a bit thick but not sticky. As you can tell from the picture a little goes a long, long way. And let me tell you, that stuff stayed on my hand like a champ. It didn't come of very well.
It stays on my lips quite good as well but it transferred to my drinking glasses like crazy, more than other lips products I've used.

And this is how it looks like on my lips. It has a nice semi-glossy finish and a lovely colour.

Overal: I like this product but I'd like it more if it didn't transfer to my glasses as much.
Price: €6.95

Did you try one of the Sleek Pout paints?

♥ Love, Vivian
