I did it!

A few weeks ago I told you  that I had signed up for the electric run, because I needed a change. I wanted to get back in shape. I didn't exactly stick with the plans I made, because some unforeseen, not so nice things happened. Sh*t happens but that doesn't mean that I should stop doing the things I like. I went and did the race and let me tell you; it was awesome!

My mom just told me that she signed me up for the "dam tot dam"-run, which is a 10 mile run from the dam of Amsterdam, to the dam of Zaandam. The runners always run past my house and the ambiance is cheerful and fun.  I'm so excited! I've been wanting to do this run ever since I was a little girl and finally I have the chance to do it. The run is in September so I have plenty of time to train for it. I made a bet with one of my friends, who is always a tiny bit faster than me, that I will beat her time this one time. Ain't no holding me back anymore! :P
