Review: Kicks Nailpolish

When on vacation I'm always looking out for brands that we don't have in holland. When I was in Norway I saw this brand called Kicks and I decided to buy some nailpolish to try out. Kicks is sold in Norway, Finland and Sweden and is the leading beauty-retailer in the nordic region. Sounds good enough right? Well, let's get on with my opinion.

I bought three shades and from left to right they're: Grona Lund (which is an amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden?),l Jewel Of Denial and Niagara Falls

The packaging is really simple, but I don't really mind. The packaging of Jewel of Denial is pretty well designed. You have to take of the cap (which is not very handy to hold on to) to reveal the actual handle which looks like the handles from the other two polishes.

The nailpolishes are two-coaters. I only have swatches from Jewel of Denial because my camera decided to break...

  • Jewel of Denial is a beautiful, rich emerald green. It's quite dark but that makes it really suitable for fall and winter :)
  • Grona Lund is a really light and bright green. It's a little too bright for pastel but that makes it a unique colour
  • Niagara Falls is a greenish blue colour with a hint of glitter in it.
Note: my camera was at the end of it's life here. I'm getting a new camera very soon but this is the best I could get at the moment.

  ♥ Love, Vivian
