Hey my gorgeous ladybugs! Remember that I said I would review the 4 beauty products I got in Portugal? Well, here it finally is!
In this review you will see 2 INGLOT products, a Pimkie eau de toilette and a mini Sephora shower gel. I'm totally in love with these products even though I don't use them everyday.
Let's begin with the Sephora shower gel in Lagoon. The only picture I have of this mini is the one you see above. I totally forgot about this mini in all actuallity. So before I start to ramble, here are the ingredients:
Ingredients
-Biolipid: Anti-drying and moisturizing; replenishes skin.
-Glycerin: Moisturizing properties.
Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Potassium Sorbate, Disodium EDTA, Polyquaternium-7, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl P-Cresol, Buteth-3, Linalool, Sodium Benzotriazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate, Geraniol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Tributyl Citrate, CI 42090 ( Blue 1), Phenoxyethanol, Plankton Extract, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides Citrate, Tocopherol, CI 19140 (Yellow 5).
The ingredients are pretty basic and they aren't anything special at all. Exept for the fact that it has a lot of fragrance in it. That was something I noticed the next day. I was in class and I was like: "What is smelling so nice and familiar?". And then it came to me that it was me and that I was smelling the shower gel. I love that!
Now, I must tell you that I took me some time to start loving the smell of this Lagoon scented shower gel. This is how it went: I stepped in the shower, totally ready to use the mini. It took me like 5 minutes of trying to get the packaging opened to realise that I was going to need scissors to open the darn packaging. When I finally managed to open it, I smelled it and thought: "hmmm.. this is not really something for me...". But I went and used it anyway. Somewhere half way I thought to myself: "This is actually quite awesome. It smells really fresh!".
Well that escalated quickly! Haha, are you confused yet? I know I rambled a little. To recapitulate: I'm used to extremely sweet scented shower gels, so it took me a minute to get used to it.
Plus:
- You smell like this lagoon shower gel for a long time
- The full size has nice sleek packaging
- It has some moisturizing agents in it
- $12,- is not that expensive for 260 ml
- The mini is a terrible thing to open
The 1st INGLOT product:
I've wanted a red eyeshadow for a very long time and when I saw this one I was simply sold. Of course I had to find a shade that would compliment the red in my mini palette. So I chose this reddish-brown.
The red eyeshadow is in the colour: #50
The reddish-brownish eyeshadow is: #607
Here are the swatches:
From top to bottom: #607, #50 and the lipstick in #401 |
Overal: I really love these eyeshadows.
You already saw the swatch of this lipstick. To be very short and simple:
I love this lipstick. It is a matt shade. It has great coverage. It stays on pretty well (re-apply after eating) and it looks great with my skin colour. Only concern is that it dries out my lips quite a bit.
Overal: Good lipstick.
I don't want to be short about this scent but I'm going to because this review is already much longer than it was supposed to be.
I totally adore this extremely sweet strawberry scent. It is so sweet that it's almost sickening. This perfume is really a Love it or Hate it perfume. Sweet, sweet, sweet. I'm getting a lot of compliments when I'm wearing this perfume (I've never gotten any compliments like that).
I like the packaging. It's real glass. It's simple and it's stylish. My cup of tea as you may recall. The name is also adorable! I mean Happy Strawberry! Super Cute!
This Eau de Toilette was 7 euros.
Hope you liked this way to long review!
♥ Love, Vivian
